What began in 1998 as Precise Calibration Centre on Ashram Road is now Precise Caltest Pvt. Ltd. — the name changed, the discipline behind every certificate we issue did not.

From a single lab bench to an accredited facility.

1998

Precise Calibration Centre opens in Ahmedabad

Commercial operations begin on Ashram Road, focused on calibration of dimensional measuring instruments for local manufacturers.

Growth Years

Scope expands beyond dimensional metrology

The laboratory adds pressure, torque, thermal, acoustic and electro-technical calibration, alongside instrument repair services.

Today

Operating as Precise Caltest Pvt. Ltd.

The lab is NABL accredited and equipped with modern master instruments and reference standards, serving clients who need documented, auditable traceability.

How We Operate

Quality is a system, not a checklist.

Every calibration we issue sits inside a documented quality system, built to meet national and international requirements for calibration laboratories.

Management Perception

We treat quality as something built into a product at the design stage, not inspected in afterward. Measuring instruments sit at every checkpoint of that process — incoming inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection — so their own accuracy directly shapes the quality of what our clients ship.

Quality System

Calibration at Precise Caltest is not treated as a routine check-job. It's a documented system of policies, procedures and instructions, maintained in compliance with applicable national and international standards for calibration laboratories.

Measurement Traceability

Every master instrument and reference standard we use — including the equipment that measures temperature and humidity in our own lab — is itself calibrated by an accredited laboratory, on a plan we review and revise over time.

Confidentiality

Manuals, procedures, calibration records, drawings and client data are handled under a strict confidentiality policy, regardless of the form they take — paper, digital, or otherwise.

Complaint Resolution

Complaints raised by phone, in person or in writing are logged, investigated for root cause, and closed with corrective action — not just an apology.

Beyond Calibration

We also repair what we calibrate.

When an instrument comes back out of tolerance, our first move isn't a rejection slip. Minor repairs, dust and debris removal, and replacement of worn components are carried out in-house, aiming to bring the instrument back within the original manufacturer's tolerance — at rates quoted against your specific enquiry.
